CLEVELAND - If you want to check out "The Avengers" filming, and possibly see Captain America, your last chance is this week. The final scenes of the movie are wrapping up on E. 9th Street and Superior.
Missing out on the action and pyrotechnics means you'll have to wait to see Thor and Iron Man until May 4 when it's on the big screen.
Filmmakers have said they're impressed with Cleveland and the crowds who have lined up to watch the action.
Many local residents appeared as extras, while still others had a superhero of a time doing a bit of their own shooting of crash scenes and explosions on their cellphones and cameras. Send us your pictures of the movie shoots to 5pix@newsnet5.com .
The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel has gained official diva status after playing hostess and acting as a backdrop for many scenes in the upcoming superhero film.
