CLEVELAND - An influx of movies filming in northeast Ohio has turned the region into a mini-Hollywood this summer.
“Fun Size,” “I, Alex Cross” and “The Avengers” have all made Cleveland their home for filming this summer, bringing to town stars like Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Johnny Knoxville and Victoria Justice.
Filming for “The Avengers” is scheduled to begin this week, as production for the movie has turned E. 9th Street in downtown Cleveland in a mock-New York City street with crushed cars and New York City taxis.
The shooting of film in the area means that Hollywood stars are going to be out and around town—something we don’t see everyday here in Cleveland.
If you happen to spot someone from the silver screen around the area, we’d love know about it! Send us pictures at 5pix@newsnet5.com.
