CLEVELAND - Cleveland has seen its share of the spotlight recently. Several high-profile movies were filmed using Cleveland as a backdrop, including 'The Avengers' and 'I, Alex Cross.' There's a reason for that.
The state offered up a motion picture tax credit, which helped save film makers quite a bit of money.
Now, State Representative Mike Dovilla from Berea is introducing legislation to increase the tax credit to $20 million a year. That's up $10 million from the original tax credit.
Dovilla said the credit created more than 9,000 jobs and nearly $20 million in wages.
