CLEVELAND - A huge lunchtime crowd showed up to see the latest developments with the movie set of Marvel Studios' "The Avengers" on Tuesday.
The set is located at East 9th Street between Euclid and Prospect Avenues.
Even though the movie shoot doesn't really get under way until August 15, spectators were still abuzz about all the hoopla.
Everyone in the crowd was proud and happy that Cleveland is getting the opportunity to host so many movies and even though East 9th Street is closed to traffic, they love that a big time movie is being shot here.
From phony phone booths to new store fronts to huge slabs of fake concrete, you can see it will soon be lights, camera, action.
Filming should take place between August 15 -24 from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
