Local fashion experts and spectators weigh in on the Royal Wedding

BEACHWOOD, Ohio - It's a day thousands and thousands waited for -- for months. The Royal Wedding finally happened, complete with all the fashion and tradition.

But some local spectators and fashion experts said there was a let down when they saw what the new princess was wearing. The people we talked with said from head to toe, she was very simple. Some said too simple. They also think the guests should have pulled out the stops in their wedding attire, too.

In fact, some of the royal outfits were actually right off the rack. The prime minister of England's wife, Samantha Cameron, wore a Burberry dress. We saw that same dress at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beachwood.

Saks Fifth Avenue's Christian Able said he agrees some of the looks were understated Friday, but he thinks it's because the royal couple and guests were more focused on the meaning of the day rather than what they wore.
