The original Batmobile used in the 1960s TV series sold at an Arizona auction Saturday for $4.6 million dollars.
The owner of a Tempe-based logistics company, Rick Champagne, is the lucky buyer.
He told "Speed TV" he plans to keep the Batmobile in his living room.
Legendary car customizer George Barris designed the car for the TV show by modifying a 1955 Lincoln concept car.
On the show, the car shot flames, squirted oil and slashed tires, but the car is not actually designed to do any of that.
Actor Adam West portrayed Bruce Wayne/Batman in the TV series and Burt Ward portrayed Robin. The series ran ran on ABC from 1966-1968.
