They entertained the crowd with stories ranging from Heaton's book, 'Motherhood and Hollywood: How to Get a Job Like Mine', to her varied jobs and career path.

Heaton studied journalism at Ohio State, but changed her path and moved to New York City.

Among her jobs, she had been a news film editor her at WEWS in the late 70s.

The event was held in a tent in front of Fuller House on the BAYarts campus on Lake Road in Bay Village. It was the kick off for fundraising for the house's restoration.

The historic Fuller House was moved by barge on Lake Erie in 1984. Space inside the house will be used for galleries and artist studios.
