Danny DeVito's recent separation from his wife Rhea Perlman was one of the more heartbreaking splits that happened this year, but it sounds like there's hope for the couple.
DeVito recently told "Extra" that he and Perlman are still trying to repair their 30-year marriage. The two announced their separation in October, but didn't explain what led to the breakup.
But when 68-year-old DeVito was asked whether he was adjusting to life as a single man, he hesitated and explained that he wasn't really solo these days.
"Rhea and I are really close, and actually still together," DeVito said. "Just like, separate, but together."
As far as a reconciliation? "We're working on it," he said.
