Comedic actress Betty White joins Twitter

CLEVELAND - Arguably the world's favorite Golden Girl seems to be getting younger by the minute, as Betty White joins the digital age.

"Golden Girl" star turned "Hot in Cleveland" phenom, 90-year-old comedic actress Betty White has joined Twitter.

She's only tweeted three times, but already has over 150,000 followers and growing rapidly.

White's first tweet said "hello Twitter!" That was followed by a plug for her new show airing Thursday night "Betty White's Off Their Rockers."

And then came the tweet loaded with spice and personality:

Hey @RyanSeacrest - my new show airs tomorrow and I hear we're in the same time slot. I've always dreamed of sharing a night with you...

Responses to that one have been of the same humorist taste!

White is following a few dozen big name celebs, including Ryan Seacrest, Lady Gaga, Whoopi Goldberg, Jimmy Fallon, Ashton Kutcher and Justin Bieber. Who knows, maybe she'll even follow you!
