Zoe Saldana adopts new puppy for Christmas

One lucky dog will be waking up to a new home on Christmas morning (25Dec12) after she was adopted by actress ZOE SALDANA.
The kind-hearted Avatar star rescued a scraggly white pooch from a shelter last week (begs17Dec12) and on Thursday (20Dec12) she introduced her fans to her new companion on Twitter.com.
Posting an image of the wire-haired canine sitting in the passenger's seat of a car, she wrote in a post, "Meet Mugsy!!! Rescued her last week - my best friend named her - ha! She's adorable and super smart".
And Mugsy will always have a furry friend to pal around with - Saldana's rumored boyfriend Bradley Cooper also has a rescue dog, a white chow chow/retriever mix named Charlotte. The couple was spotted walking the pup together over Thanksgiving last month (Nov12).
