Fashion designer VIVIENNE WESTWOOD has slammed British Royal CATHERINE, DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE for having too many clothes.

The punk pioneer called upon the pregnant royal to set a good example and help the environment by recycling her outfits instead of buying new ones.

Speaking before her London Fashion Week show at the Saatchi Gallery in the British capital on Sunday (17Feb13), Westwood made a public plea to the Duchess.

She said, "It would be great if she wore the same clothes over and again because that's very good for the environment and it would send out a very nice message."
