R&B singer USHER's former stepson KILE GLOVER has been laid to rest in Georgia.

The 11-year-old son of the singer's ex-wife Tameka Foster was declared brain dead by doctors after he was knocked unconscious during a jet-ski accident on Lake Lanier on 6 July (12)

He died on Saturday (21Jul12) after his parents - Foster and entrepreneur Ryan Glover - agreed to take the child off life support, and on Friday (27Jul12), friends and family paid their last respects during a funeral service in Atlanta.

Photos obtained by TMZ.com show the child's white casket decorated with red flowers as it is carried outside the church behind a sole escort, playing the trumpet, while his mom, wearing a pair of oversized sunglasses, brings up the rear.

Kile was later buried at a nearby cemetery.

As WENN went to press, it was unclear whether the Burn hitmaker had also been present at the memorial.
