British pop stars THE WANTED are on the hunt for homes Stateside to help boost their chances of cracking the U.S.

The Glad You Came hitmakers have already enjoyed success in the American charts and to ensure they remain in the spotlight, the boyband is planning to buy property in the country so they have a place to call home while working on a TV project.

Bandmember Tom Parker tells British newspaper The Sun, "We're looking at getting a TV show in the U.S. and we want houses over there to have a base. We're also in the frame to record a song for a big film sequel and we might get a cameo in it."
