Pop star TAYLOR SWIFT has donated 2,000 books to the Pennsylvania hospital where she was born.
The Love Story hitmaker is giving back to her home city by handing over an extensive collection to the Reading Hospital's Child Health Center as part of the institution's early literacy program.
Swift teamed up with Scholastic, Inc. to make the donation through America's national Reach Out and Read initiative, which promotes childhood reading.
The star is a tireless campaigner on the importance of reading and has previously given 20,000 books to libraries in Tennessee and Pennsylvania.
