TAYLOR SWIFT's LOVE STORY with ONE DIRECTION star HARRY STYLES didn't have a fairytale ending - the pair has called it quits, according to multiple reports.
The young couple first sparked rumors of a blossoming romance in November (12) after Swift was spotted holding hands with the boyband star backstage at reality show The X Factor in Hollywood.
A short time later the pair went public with the relationship, visiting New York City's Central Park Zoo and enjoying a double date with pop stars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez in Utah, before taking their love overseas to his native England, where Swift celebrated her 23rd birthday in December (12).
They shared a sweet kiss in Times Square as the clock struck midnight on New Year's Eve (31Dec12) and then jetted to the British Virgin Islands for a brief vacation - and that's where it all went downhill, according to multiple reports. It's suggested the singers had a heated argument last week (begs31Dec12), prompting Swift to cut short her trip and head home to Nashville, Tennessee, while Styles took off to visit Virgin boss Richard Branson on his private island Necker before heading back to London.
He now joins the dumped list that also includes John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s teenage son Conor Kennedy, who split from Swift just before reports of her romance with Styles first surfaced.
And it appears their gruelling schedules were behind the break-up.
A source tells Life & Style, "They are both really busy and never in one place for long", while an insider echoes the same sentiment to UsMagazine.com, adding, "They are 100 per cent over."
