Singer Adele pregnant

Soul sensation ADELE is pregnant with her first child.

The Rolling In The Deep has announced she is starting a family with charity boss boyfriend Simon Konecki - and the Grammy Award winner is overjoyed.

In a post on her official website, Adele writes, "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together.

"I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time."

The singer was recently forced to deny rumors Konecki had proposed to her on her 24th birthday in May (12), but she has previously insisted she would make a great wife.

She told Vogue magazine, "I am attentive. I will do anything for my man. I am a good cook. I'm funny (and I) always want to have sex. Most girls don't."

The couple began dating late last year (11).
