Actor SHIA LaBEOUF has reportedly quit the production of his upcoming Broadway debut due to "creative differences".
The Transformers star was scheduled to hit the stage alongside Alec Baldwin and Tom Sturridge in Orphans next month (Mar13) for previews, but producers have revealed their leading man is no longer part of the show.
A statement reads: "Due to creative differences, the producers of ORPHANS and Shia LaBeouf will be parting ways and he will not be continuing with the production. An announcement on the replacement for the role of Treat will be made shortly."
The revival of Lyle Kessler's 1983 play is still scheduled to open for previews at the Schoenfeld Theater on 19 March (13). The production will officially launch on 7 April (13).
