Singer ROBIN THICKE is putting off becoming a parent again because he struggles to see enough of his only son due to his hectic schedule.

The Lost Without You hitmaker and his actress wife Paula Patton welcomed little Julian Fuego in 2010, but the tot will have to wait awhile before a younger sibling is introduced to the family.

Thicke admits it's tough juggling his career and personal life, and a new baby will only make it harder.

He tells People.com, "We're not planning to have more kids any time soon. It's hard enough to balance things the way they are. I don't want to throw another child into the mix right now.

"(TV contest Duets) is really taking time away from my kid. I try to have him come to the set if I can, and I spend a couple of hours with him. He's been in my dressing room, playing with Play-Doh. I really love when I'm with him.

"We just haven't had a lot of time to spend together. That's one of the sacrifices you have to make in this business, unfortunately, you know?"
