PINK used her performance at a charity gala in Los Angeles on Monday (12Nov12) to thank the surgeon who removed her gallbladder in May (12).
The first annual Power of Pink fundraiser was hosted by Dr. Maggie DiNome, who operated on the pop star after she fell ill earlier this year (12).
Pink was guest of honor and she gave a special thanks to DiNome during her acoustic set at the event, organized in tribute to patients battling breast cancer.
She jokingly asked if one of the doctors in the crowd could help her with a hamstring problem, before telling the audience, "Thank you all for being part of such a special night. Thank you Maggie for taking out my body parts and keeping me healthy!"
Actresses Melanie Griffith and Rita Wilson also attended the bash, handing out prizes to winners picked from a raffle.
Proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Margie Petersen Breast Center at Saint John's Health Center in Los Angeles, reports Billboard.com.
