The stars of ONE DIRECTION regularly plan a day of pranks to pull on their management team to stave off boredom while on the road.
The boyband - comprised of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne - has been part of a nonstop promotional whirlwind since shooting to fame on Britain's The X Factor, but the singers often grow restless while on tour.
They devised a monthly 'Deadly Day' to deliberately cause chaos for their minders and security, and Tomlinson admits playing tricks makes the group "feel alive".
He tells British newspaper The Sun, "Deadly Day - we originally had a day every month when we just run riot, and there's no rules and we just cause mischief. It can get a bit boring on the road so we like to make it interesting for ourselves.
"We climbed onto the roof of a building the other day. There were about 10 people at the bottom telling us to come down. We're young lads. It's good to feel alive."

ABC says it will air four fewer episodes of "Scandal" than planned this season.
The network on Friday didn't say why it will broadcast 18 instead of 22 episodes. But the decision follows word that "Scandal" star Kerry Washington and her new husband, football player Nnamdi Asomugha, are expecting a baby.
