Miley Cyrus obtains restraining order against locked-up trespasser

Singer/actress MILEY CYRUS has obtained a new restraining order against a scissor-wielding intruder who is serving 18 months behind bars for trespassing on her Los Angeles property.

Jason Luis Rivera, 40, was found hiding in the bushes at the teenager's home after reportedly scaling a fence to get onto the property in September (12).

He pleaded not guilty to trespassing and resisting arrest, but was convicted on both counts last month (Oct12) and began serving his sentence immediately.

However, the former Hannah Montana star still fears for her safety and filed a protective order in a court last Tuesday (30Oct12) to ban Rivera from approaching her when he is released. A judge signed off on the request the same day, reports TMZ.com.
