Singer MACY GRAY is hoping to return to the stage to support SEAL in Cohasset, Massachusetts on Friday night (13Jul12) after bronchitis forced her to scrap a show in Connecticut on Wednesday (11Jul12).
The I Try hitmaker was just about to go on and fight through the pain of a sore throat when a doctor urged her to scrap the show at Foxwoods MGM Theater and rest up.
She pulled her band offstage and apologised to fans for the late cancellation.
But she's determined the show will go on after a full day's rest and she hopes to sing tonight.
A statement from her management reads: "She's been to the doctor again this morning who has diagnosed her with bronchitis and has given her another shot to ensure she can sing tonight. Her voice is already feeling stronger and she is excited for the show."
