LIMP BIZKIT rocker WES BORLAND has assured fans the band has not parted ways after frontman FRED DURST suggested the group was "over" in a recent interview.

The Rollin' hitmakers hit headlines on Friday (17Aug12) when a revealing chat with Durst surfaced on music website MetalInjection.net and appeared to claim that Limp Bizkit was coming to an end.

He was quoted as saying, "We just don't know what's going on in America. It's all about the new catchy thing and that's always changing. America is driven by record sales. It's the home of corporations. We're just Limp Bizkit, so we don't know how to do anything but Limp Bizkit...

"But here's the deal: say in 2000, there were 35 million people who connected to this band. Twelve years later, lots of those people have moved on. We were a moment in time and it's over."

The comments were picked up by music blogs all over the internet and some even alleged Limp Bizkit was set to split, but guitarist Borland has since taken to his Twitter.com blog to clear up the false rumors.

He wrote, "LB has not called it quits. That article is insane. Thanks for your concerns, but we're all good over here."

Durst also dismissed the break-up claims by announcing plans for a new tour, tweeting, "Limp Bizkit trending WORLDWIDE! gotta love lies and rumors!! Keep it up!! USA Tour in the works!!"

Limp Bizkit are currently working on new material after signing to hip-hop mogul Bryan 'Birdman' Williams' Cash Money Records in February (12).
