Pop star KE$HA is releasing a documentary series about the "whirlwind journey" she has experienced in the last two years.
Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life will give fans a peek inside the TiK ToK hitmaker's life as she tours the world and records her latest album.
In a statement, she explains, "You might have heard my voice on the radio, seen me onstage or in a music video, but that's only a part of the story. With this documentary series I'm revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It's not all glamorous, but it's all real. I want you to come on a whirlwind journey with an all-access pass to My Crazy Beautiful Life."
The fly-on-the-wall series, set to debut in the U.S. in April (13), was shot by her filmmaker brother Lagan Sebert, who admits it was a wild roller-coaster ride following his sister's rise to the top.
He adds, "I was working as a journalist as my sister was fighting her way to the top of the charts. Journalists live and die by the story and I soon realized that the most amazing story was happening in my own family and it became my mission to document it. I set off on a two-year long journey to tell my sister's story."
The show is to air on U.S. network MTV.
