THE BLACK KEYS star PATRICK CARNEY's post-Grammys attack on JUSTIN BIEBER has got the pop star all fired up.
The rocker took aim at Bieber after picking up three awards at the Grammys on Sunday (10Feb13) when he was asked if he felt bad for the Baby singer, who wasn't even nominated.
The drummer said, "I dunno, he's rich, right? Grammys are for, like, music, not for money... He's making a lot of money. He should be happy."
His remark has irked Bieber, who responded on Tuesday (12Feb13) via Twitter, suggesting Carney "should be slapped around".
Carney has since retweeted Bieber's comment after adding, "It's cool when you get cornered outside your hotel by a guy with a camera and they ask you a dumb question and then put it on TV."
And, as Bieber fans took aim at Carney on Twitter for suggesting their hero didn't deserve a Grammy nod, the drummer added, "Here we go again."
Bieber's followers lit up the Internet with their thoughts about Carney, with one suggesting the rocker deserved a "punch in the face with a brick", prompting sarcastic Carney to tweet, "My twitter today has turned into a virtual Claire's Accessories" referring to the popular store for teenage girls.
