Julie Bowen suffering from swollen foot

Actress JULIE BOWEN is hobbling around with a swollen foot after suffering a mystery injury.
The Modern Family star alerted fans to her painful problem late on Sunday (28Oct12) by posting a photo of her bruised ankle on her Twitter.com blog while on a beach near her home in Southern California.
Bowen claims she has received different diagnoses from two medics, writing alongside the snap, "Doctor said it isn't broken. Veterinarian said it is. purple foot".
However, the comedienne has managed to find the humor in her situation, joking, "Thanks for all the ankle concern, people. I am Teutonic at heart and will dutifully ignore it until my foot is amputated."
