MICHAEL JACKSON's brothers were left shaken in Japan when a strong earthquake hit the eastern coast of the country on Friday (07Dec12).

The Jacksons, currently on the Asian leg of their Unity Tour, were rehearsing for a gig at The Tokyo International Forum when they were rattled by the tremor.

Jackie Jackson took to his Twitter.com page to tell followers, "We felt the tremors of the earthquake here in Tokyo during sound check," but assured fans the show would go ahead by writing, "Konnichiwa (hello) lovely ones! Counting down till showtime!"

No damage or injuries have been reported in the aftermath of the tremor, which struck the same region devastated by a powerful earthquake and tsunami last year (Mar11).

Officials at the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center believe there is no threat of a widespread tsunami.
