Actress HEATHER GRAHAM has penned an open letter to herself as a teenager, promising her "nerdy" younger version she will one day be a bombshell.

The Hangover star wrote the note for Britain's Glamour magazine to dish out the advice she needed to transform from a studious pupil into a Hollywood A-lister.

She writes, "Because you're smart and get good grades, you're made to feel undesirable, but you know that fantasy you have - of being the 'attractive girl'? Soon, you're going to be cast to play pretty girls and you're going to meet a stylist, so you won't be wearing clothes your mom picked up at (bargain clothes retailer) Dress For Less any longer."

The 42-year-old blonde beauty also warns young Heather her future holds a fair share of rocky romances, adding, "You haven't been on many dates yet, but you will, so brace yourself; you're in for some heartbreak."
