GLEE star NAYA RIVERA has signed up to host a music event which will feature stars performing a gig in every state on the same day.
The singer/actress is taking charge of the first ever 50/50/1 spectacular on 1 August (13), when acts including The Flaming Lips, Kendrick Lamar and Ludacris will all stage shows in different states across the nation.
Rivera will host the event live from Los Angeles, where R&B star Miguel is performing, and concertgoers will be able to engage with her via MySpace.com throughout the day.
She says, "It definitely is the first time that something like this has ever been done, which I think is such a huge undertaking but so awesome. It's history-making, so I'm proud to be a part of it."
