The talent scout who discovered DRAKE has filed a breach of contract lawsuit against the rapper's management team over allegations of unpaid royalties.

James 'Jas' Prince launched a legal battle against the Best I Ever Had hitmaker's business associates and boss Cortez Bryant amid claims he is owed funds for introducing Drake to his mentor Lil Wayne.

Wayne subsequently signed the Canadian star to his label, Young Money Entertainment, in 2009.

The Texas native filed papers at the New York State Supreme Court on Thursday (26Jul12) and is seeking unspecified damages for breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty.
