Bradley Cooper's mom will be his Oscars date

BRADLEY COOPER has already secured a date for his big night at the Oscars next month (Feb13) - he's promised his mom she can walk the red carpet by his side at Hollywood's glitziest event.
The Hangover star has secured his first Best Actor Academy Award nomination for his turn in Silver Linings Playbook, and he swore he would take his beloved mother Gloria if he was ever lucky enough to land a nod at the most important prizegiving in Tinseltown.
He says, "One night, when I started the profession, (mom said,) 'If you ever (get nominated) I am the date.'"
And he reveals she was ecstatic when she heard about his 2013 mention, adding, "She was freaking out."
Cooper will go up against Daniel Day-Lewis, Hugh Jackman, Joaquin Phoenix, and Denzel Washington for the golden statuette.
