Actress ANNE HATHAWAY was so baffled by her Costume Designers Guild Awards honor, she had to research why she had been tipped for the accolade.
The Les Miserables star was presented with the Lacoste Spotlight Award at the Los Angeles ceremony on Tuesday (19Feb13), but Hathaway couldn't understand why she was being honored at a costume-focused awards show.
She tells Etonline.com, "I had to go on the website to find out exactly what I was being honored for, this being the Costume Designers Guild Awards.
"Apparently, it's about celebrating the spirit of collaboration, which got me really excited because collaborating with the costume department has always been one of my favorite parts of making films."
