ADELE's theme for new JAMES BOND movie SKYFALL is rocketing up iTunes charts around the world after its release at 0.07am (BST) on Friday (05Oct12).
The track has taken the top spot on the iTunes charts in Britain, Ireland, Greece, the Netherlands and Finland following its premiere on Adele's website in the early hours of Friday, which has been declared Global James Bond Day in honor of the franchise's 50th anniversary.
Skyfall also cracked the top five in the U.S. and Canada as fans rushed to download the song through the online music retailer.
Daniel Craig will make his third outing as the superspy in the 23rd Bond movie, which hits cinemas later this month (Oct12).
