CLEVELAND - What if I told you that you could get gourmet food for a low price and that food came to you? Sound too good to be true?
Dim and Den Sum is a food truck that is transforming the way people in northeast Ohio are eating at all hours of the day and night.
The idea is nothing new -- put some cooking gear in a truck and go to where the crowds are and feed the masses.
The idea comes from Chris Hodgson and his partners, who were discouraged by the cost of quality gourmet food. He started hitting the streets of Cleveland in late April and hasn't looked back.
Everywhere they go with their converted delivery truck, they always draw a crowd and usually cook until everything is gone.
NewsChannel5 caught up with them early Friday morning outside of Touch at West 27th Street and Lorain Avenue.
The second the truck pulled up, everyone went running for the door and immediately formed a line wanting to get in on some of the culinary specialties. Menu titles include the Foodie Burger, Southern Dawg and one of the favorites, Chicken and Waffle taco.
If you would like to sample some of their food you can follow them on Twitter @DimAndDenSum , Facebook, and their website where you can follow the truck using GPS.
