Birthplace: Born in Benicia,California, but grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Education: West Virginia University, Cum Laude Graduate

Current Position/Job Duties: Multimedia Journalist/Ohio News Network Reporter based out of the NewsChannel5 Newsroom, appearing on ONN and WEWS every week night, and covering the "big" story in Northeast Ohio.

Previous Work Experience: Reporter/fill-in anchor at WINK in Fort Myers, Florida, weekend anchor at WKBN in Youngstown, Ohio and anchor/reporter/photographer/producer at WDTV in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

Joined NewsChannel5: Started as the Ohio News Network Cleveland bureau reporter based in the NewsChannel5 newsroom in December 2009.

Most Memorable Stories: There have been so many in Cleveland so far. I profiled a man who lost his wife of sixty years. He visits her grave everyday, twice a day. Now, people visit him because they are touched by his story.

I've covered a dozen severe weather stories from blizzards, to flooding and tornadoes.

I also helped a Northeast Ohio family that was billed every month to replace a guardrail their son crashed into, decapitating him. I brought their story to ODOT, who stopped the bills immediately.

News Philosophy: Every person has a story to tell.

Role Models: My mother and sister.

Favorite Music: R&B and soul.

Favorite Books: She's Come Undone, Wally Lamb or World War Z Max Brooks.

Favorite Food: Italian.

My passion: Giving a voice to people who are sometimes not heard.

Hobbies & Interests: Running, traveling and exploring.

Hidden Talents: I am really good at impressions and I have an amazing memory. I never forget a face.

Something most people don't know about me: I've traveled the world with stops in Cuba, Brazil, India, South Africa, Korea and Japan.

What I like best about Northeast Ohio: The people and the restaurant scene.

You're most likely to see me around town at: Warehouse district, East 4th, Ohio City or Tremont.

On the weekends I love to: Sample the one million amazing restaurants in Cleveland. In the summer I love Whiskey Island, Edgewater Park, and Indians games.
