Seeing a storm on radar, and then seeing the results on the ground, is an eye-opening and an emotional experience. That’s why we take our severe weather coverage so seriously.

Something most people don't know about me: My first appearance on NewsChannel5 happened back in 1991, and it had nothing to do with the weather. I won a Joe Tait (former Cavaliers radio voice) sound-alike contest and the highlights were shown during sports.
What I like best about Northeast Ohio: The different types of weather we can receive-Our area has so many different micro-climates, and each region can experience a wide variety of weather conditions, particularly in the winter. Also, after living in other parts of the country, we’re blessed to have some of the best small towns and friendliest people, anywhere.
You're most likely to see me around town at: Dining downtown on East 4th Street and in the Warehouse District, enjoying Cleveland’s Tremont, Detroit-Shoreway and Ohio City neighborhoods, an Indians, Browns or Cavaliers game, or at one of our beautiful area golf courses.
