During the summer months, I host a weekly segment at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo every Friday on NewsChannel5 at Noon.
Previous Work Experience: Morning and noon meteorologist at KOIN-TV in Portland, Oregon. Evening meteorologist at KAVU-TV in Victoria, Texas.

Most Memorable Stories: Covering the 2005 hurricane season in Texas, especially Hurricane Rita. There were mandatory evacuations for nearly the entire Texas coast. Category 5 Hurricane Rita took a turn north at the last minute and weakened before making landfall near the Texas/Louisiana border. Rita was the fourth most intense hurricane (ranked by lowest pressure) in the Atlantic Basin.
Role Model: My sister. She's in her third year of medical school at the University of Pittsburgh.
Favorite Sports Team: Cleveland Indians.
Favorite Music: Classical, oldies, classic rock, country, world music. Pretty much anything!
Favorite Movies: The Goonies, Home Alone, A Hard Day's Night.
Favorite Program: Modern Family, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Pan Am.
Favorite Foods: Hamburgers (with extra pickles), any kind of chocolate ice cream and everything my Mom cooks.
Pet: A guinea pig, Skip.
My passion: Teaching people about the weather.
Hobbies & Interests: Photography, hiking, camping, travel, languages, running.
Something most people don't know about me: I climbed Mt. Saint Helens.
What I like best about Northeast Ohio: There’s no such thing as “boring weather” here. There's always something to do on the weekends and the people are fantastic!
You're most likely to see me around town at: The Cleveland APL, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, West Side Market, and local schools talking to students about weather.
On the weekends I love to: Catch up on sleep. The 12 a.m. wake-up call comes early!
