UPDATED: 10:00 pm EDT July 30, 2009

With August just around the corner, airlines are beginning to cut fares to boost traffic after school starts.

Delta, its partner Northwest and JetBlue have all kicked off fare sales.

NewsChannel5 found roundtrips from Akron to New York City for less than $200.

Fares are good through the week before Thanksgiving but you need to act fast: Delta's sale ends Monday and JetBlue's ends on Wednesday.

Continental is not matching the sale fares from Cleveland Hopkins at this point.
