A company is recalling more than 1 million playpens because of a defect that could cause injuries in children.

Kolcraft is recalling several brands of play yards because the side rail can collapse. The play yards were sold at northeast Ohio stores over the past nine years.

The company has reports of 21 injuries. The brands affected by the recall are Kolcraft, Carters, Sesame Street, Jeep, Contours Care Bear and Eric Carles.

Some of the models have a changing table.

The play yards were sold at Wal-Mart, Kmart, Sears, Target and Babies R Us. Check with the store if you think you have one.
