Call To Vets Preys On Fears Of Medicine Coverage

POSTED: 3:40 pm EDT September 23, 2009
UPDATED: 4:13 pm EDT September 23, 2009

The Veteran's Administration is warning about a scam targeting Ohio veterans that prey on their fears of losing their prescription medicine coverage.

Callers are claiming to be from the VA and are telling veterans that the VA has changed its procedures on dispensing prescription medicine.

The caller then asks for a credit card so that the vet can continue getting low priced prescriptions.

These calls are not from the VA.

Remember to never give personal info to someone who calls.
