UPDATED: 11:27 am EST November 6, 2009

Damien Gantz, 20, was indicted Friday on charges in connection with an ATM theft and murder.

Gantz faces charges of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, tampering with evidence, and kidnapping. Gantz was also indicted on having weapons while under disability for a 2008 drug conviction.

The charges stem from an incident on Oct. 21 when he was allegedly caught on surveillance tape robbing and shooting Terry Fitten, 49, at an East Cleveland bank.

Fitten was shot tree times.

Officials said he discarded the gun and his clothes into the lake and fled to Michigan.

Gantz faces the death penalty.

A woman accused in an abduction hoax that began near Philadelphia and ended at Walt Disney World will be sent back to Pennsylvania to face charges. More Details
