Man Found Dead Up Against Cleveland Building

Cleveland Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 24-year-old Euclid man.

Lamontious Bently was found dead up against a building at Ada and Lakeview avenues at 11:45 a.m. with severe head trauma.

Police said it appeared that Bently had been hit by a car and slammed into a building.

Bently was found to be holding a bag of suspected marijuana in one hand and a load handgun in the other.

There are no arrests at this time. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit at 216-623-5464 or Crime Stoppers at 216-252- 7463. Tips to Crime Stoppers are worth up to $2,000.
