Reward Offered For Information On Fatal Robbery

A reward up to $2,000 is being offered for information on a fatal robbery.

Police said three men were sitting on the porch of an abandoned house on Scranton Aveunue at 11:40 p.m. Friday.

A man in a mask appeared and robbed them at gunpoint.

After the man took money and other valuables, he opened fire, killing a 26-year-old man and injuring a 28-year-old. The 26-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. The 28-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks. He is confined at MetroHealth Medical Center, where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.

The third robbery victim was not hurt. He fled the scene on foot.

Police said the man is black, in his late teens or early 20s, about 6 feet tall, and weighing 190 pounds. They said he had a caramel complexion, hazel eyes, braids in his hair and wore a mask.
