NE Ohio High School Principal Dies Over Weekend

A principal from a northeast Ohio high school died over the weekend.

Jeffrey Meddock, principal at Pymatuning Valley High School, assistant boys' basketball coach and delegate to the Republican Convention in August, died Friday night of a brain aneurysm at his home in Roaming Shores in Ashtabula County. He was found Saturday after failing to show up to chaperone the homecoming dance.

Meddock, 38, was recently interviewed on "Good Morning America" during the show's train trip.

Calling hours will be at Baumgardner's Funeral Home, in Andover on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Pymatuning Valley School at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
