CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Four Geauga County women were arrested Wednesday for providing what police say were more than just massages at a Chester Township home.

Police said the Geauga County spa was an illegal business in which sexual services were provided in exchange for cash.

"We executed a search warrant. We have a board-up order and we are going to shut down this business because we don't want them in our county," said Geauga County Prosecutor David Joyce.

After a six-month undercover investigation, four female employees were taken into custody during a Wednesday morning raid.

One of the women collapsed during the raid and was taken to a local hospital, but residents said there is too much at stake to feel any sympathy.

"This is a community where there are small children. We are raising families and we really did not want that in our neighborhood," said resident Maria Dorsky.

People in the community said suspicions grew when women were repeatedly turned away for service, even though the sign says all are welcome.

"We knocked on the door and an Asian woman peeked out and said, 'Can I help you?' We said, 'What do you do here? Can we have a spa service?' She said, 'No, No,' and hurried up and closed the door," said resident Colleen Alioto.

The women in custody face prostitution, solicitation and racketeering charges.

Police would not confirm rumors of another sex ring in the area.

"We are going to take action everywhere they rear their ugly head in this county, I can tell you that," said Joyce.

It is not clear if the owner of the business knew what was happening inside the massage parlor, but police said they plan to prosecute everyone involved.
