AKRON, Ohio -- A woman hospitalized for burns claimed that her boyfriend threw drain cleaner.

The 34-year-old victim was taken to a hospital Sunday evening by a relative and was treated for burns to her face and arm.

She told police that the drain cleaner was thrown during an argument with her live-in boyfriend.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
