Police said they have arrested two juveniles in connection with an attack on a 90-year-old man in Beachwood on Wednesday.

Officials said the Jay Klein's 2002 Chevrolet Impala was stolen from a Chagrin Boulevard apartment complex's parking lot.

The elderly man was taken to Hillcrest Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Klein talked to NewsChannel5 from his hospital bed about the attack that left him with a black eye and other injuries. He said someone came up to his car window and told him to get out of the car, and when Klein refused, the assailant threw him out of the car.

Klein underwent three MRIs on Thursday so doctors could determine their course of treatment.

Police said the two 17-year-olds are being held in juvenile detention and are facing felony robbery charges. Police said they plan to ask prosecutors to charge them with attempted kidnapping as well.

Klein, a former educator, told NewsChannel5 that he doesn't know whether to be angry with the suspects or feel sorry for them. He said he plans to spend his 91st birthday next month with his family.
