Employees of Scripps Broadcasting Company d/b/a WEWS-TV, its subsidiaries, and competing television stations, affiliates, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies of WEWS-TV, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings and their spouses) and individuals living in the same household as such employees are ineligible. Contest subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

HOW TO ENTER: There is only one way to enter - by phone. No other method of entry will be accepted.

During the broadcast of a cue to call to win [tickets or another random gift pack prize] will be given by the news anchor or announcer. The 5th caller will win the [tickets or another random prize giveaway].

JUDGING AND ODDS: Limit one prize per person, family or household during a 30-day period. Odds of winning are dependent upon number of calls received prior to winner determination.

PRIZES: WEWS will award the [random ticket, gift certificate] There will be no substitutions for prizes except due to unavailability, in which case, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded at the exclusive discretion of the Sponsor. Prizes are not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

NOTIFICATION: The 5th caller will be told that they have won. Winners must be able to pick up their prize at WEWS NewsChannel 5 at 3001 Euclid Ave., Cleveland Ohio 44115 sometime during regular business hours [8:30am – 5:00pm]. Winners may need to sign and return a statement of eligibility and a liability and publicity release. Failure to sign the statement of eligibility and the liability and publicity release may result in forfeiture of the prize. If the winner is not able to pick up the prize within 60 days of winning, that person forfeits his/her prize. Winners will be required to produce picture identification in order to pick up their prize and sign paperwork at WEWS NewsChannel 5. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of the judges. By entering the Contest, winner agrees to waive any and all claims against the sponsor, Scripps Howard Broadcasting d/b/a WEWS-TV, their affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives for any and all claims, loss, injury, death and damage including legal defense costs arising directly or indirectly from the participation in this contest or from the receipt or use of any prize, and grant to sponsor, and WEWS-TV the right to publicize such winner’s name and/or likeness without additional compensation or consideration unless prohibited by law.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sponsor, its affiliates, employees, agents and representatives are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials, nor stolen, late, lost, garbled, delayed, misdirected, damaged, or incomplete entries. Sponsor, its affiliates, employees, agents and representatives, or any telephone network are not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate transcription or loss of entry information for any reason whatsoever. If, in the Sponsor’s exclusive judgment, this promotion becomes compromised in any way, Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw the promotion offer, cancel any method of entry, to void any entries submitted fraudulently or select winners from all eligible entries received prior to act that compromised the promotion. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these official rules including all eligibility requirements.

Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this Contest is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Sponsor or its agents.
