Study: High-School Graduation Rates Higher Than Expected
Ohio Ranks 14th In Nation

CLEVELAND -- Experts have uncovered some surprising news concerning high-school graduation rates.
NewsChannel5 reported that, according to a 2001 Manhattan Institute study, 70 percent of all students in public high schools actually graduate.
Ohio's state average is slightly higher at 78 percent -- that's 14th in the nation.
The study also said only 32 percent of those who graduate from public schools are actually qualified to attend a four-year college.
