Officials are investigating after a human skull was found by a resident Friday in between Schocalog Road and White Pond Drive.

A search did not turn up any additional bones in the area.

The medical examiner's office has identified the skull to be that of Douglas Harbaugh, formerly of Schocalog Road in Copley Township. He went missing Feb. 1, 2006. Officials said that day, police were called to the home for a domestic disturbance.

The family reported him missing Feb. 3, 2006.

Harbaugh was 34 years old when he disappeared.
